The Crystal Awards were instituted with the objective of honouring the places, people, companies and practices that deserve recognition for uncompromised commitment, constantly evolving to make themselves unique in terms of extending integrated offerings and world-class services. We congratulate our 2009 winners who have succeeded in the various stages of our judging methodology that ensures entrants are evaluated on their merits and actual performance from a guest’s perspective. This being the sixth year in running, The Crystal Awards continue to be recognized as the most prestigious endorsement of excellence for the industry. Due to lack of quorum for a majority of awards categories, we have extended the registration and participation deadlines for The Crystal Awards Arabia 2009 and The Crystal Awards Europe 2009. This move have resulted in a shift of schedules where nominees announcement, judging & mystery shopping and other related processes have been delayed until later this year with an aim to announce the winners in May 2010. We continue to encourage all interested and qualified brands and operators to register for participation in the inaugural Crystal Awards for these regions. With this deadline extension, we are hopeful to receive more participation from a wider range of industry members in the MENA region and Europe. For those who have registered and submitted your participation forms, rest assured that your submissions remain valid and will be kept in file for the judging process.
